Impacted tooth a tooth which got block inside the gum line & it's a unerupted tooth. Patients frequently develop problems with impacted third molar (wisdom) teeth. These teeth get stuck in the back of the jaw and didin't got place to erupt can develop painful infections. 3rd molar is the most common impacted tooth, any tooth can a impacted.

Treatment:
Initially dentist will advice wait & see for few month to erupt & advice to gargle with warm salted water. If it's not erupting Surgery is indicated & maximum time extraction done.
